  Stephen Bowman 

  Bio

  Stephen Bowman is a retired tax lawyer and former Vice Chair of Bennett Jones. He served as managing partner of the firm's Toronto office for 13 years.
  
  

  Stephen is Co-Chair of the International Bar Association's Future of Legal Services Commission and past Chair of the IBA's Law Firm Management Committee and is a course director for the IBA Law Firm Management Committee’s annual Academy for Leaders.  He is also a Vice Chair of the Royal Ontario Museum Foundation and past Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Ontario Museum.

  Wendy Chong 

  Bio

  Wendy Chong is a presentation skills coach and consultant.  Through her practice, Elevate Your Presence Inc., Wendy works with executives to optimize their impact in face-to-face communications, in person and virtually. Previously, Wendy worked in KPMG’s Corporate Finance practice, and in business development at Artez Interactive, a pioneer in Internet fundraising in Canada.
  
  

  Wendy has been on the 杏吧原创 Board since 2021, chairs the Governance committee and sits on the HR committee. She has been part of the 杏吧原创 delegation at Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging conferences, and connects with prospective families in her role as parent ambassador. Wendy served on the Bishop Strachan School’s Board of Governors (’99-’10), chairing the Strategy committee and serving on the Governance and Finance committees. Wendy also serves on the Board of the Jean Lumb Foundation which awards scholarships to Chinese Canadian youth. She is also a supporter at New Circles and the Yonge Street Mission, charities that serve new immigrants and people experiencing poverty. Wendy also led parent outreach to
  new Canadians at her children’s TDSB school. In 2022, Wendy launched a grassroots ultimate frisbee program for underserved communities in partnership with the Toronto Ultimate Club. Through this work, Wendy is occasionally a guest coach to grade 4/5 students in the Toronto District School Board, spreading the accessibility and joy of this incredible sport!
  
  Wendy earned her ICD.D designation (Institute of Corporate Directors) in March 2023, and has an MBA, both from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University. Wendy is the mother of 杏吧原创 alumni from the Classes of ’24 and ’25.

  Tyler Diamond 

  Bio

  Ty Diamond is President of DiamondCorp and its joint-venture subsidiary Diamond Kilmer Developments. Having joined the organizations in 2017, Ty oversees all aspects of the companies’ residential and mixed-use projects including overall strategy, deal structuring, project financing, sales and construction all with a focus toward creating value through the land development process. Prior to joining DiamondCorp and Diamond Kilmer, Ty worked as an investment banking analyst at TD Securities, where he advised real estate clients on public and private market transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and asset dispositions.
  
  In addition to his role at 杏吧原创 as board director and chair of Campus Development Committee, Ty also sits on construction committee for Neshama Hospice. In 2015, Ty graduated from the Ivey Business School with an Honours Business Administration (HBA) and is a proud 杏吧原创 alumnus from the class of 2011.

  Lisa Dymond 

  Bio

  Lisa Dymond is a seasoned business operator, advisor, and thought leader with nearly 25 years of experience leveraging the power of people to unlock organizations’ potential. Currently, Lisa is Partner & Head of Talent for Altas Partners, a private equity firm with offices in Toronto and New York. Previously, Lisa spent 14 years with the Boston Consulting Group, most recently serving as Head of Talent for the firm’s Canadian Practice, following a number of years as a global expert in People and Organization and serving clients across industries and mandates before that. As a volunteer, Lisa has focused her efforts on the education sector. In addition to her role on the Board with 杏吧原创, Lisa serves as Chair of the Alumni Network Board for the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, and also sits on the Ivey Advisory Board. Previously, she sat on the Board of Directors of the Creative Preschool of East Toronto and the Advisory Board of the LEADER Project, which teaches entrepreneurship in developing economies globally. A native of Vancouver, Lisa is a mother of 3 busy children and in her little free time enjoys canoe tripping, cycling, and thrifting.

• Abigail Etches 

  Bio

  Abigail Etches is Senior Director, Sustainability Index Sales at S&P Dow Jones Indices (a division of S&P Global). In this role, she leads business development efforts in the Americas for sustainability related benchmarks, which includes index solutions for broad environment, social,  governance, net zero, low carbon, biodiversity and SDG related products.

   

  Prior to this role, Abigail was head of Client Coverage for S&P Dow Jones Indices in Canada, where her responsibilities included licensing and relationship management for the investment community in the region. Before joining S&P DJI 14 years ago, Abigail led business development, account management and product development efforts for TMX Group, with domestic and international responsibilities in TMX’s Equity Trading and Listings divisions. She began her career at Broadridge Financial Solutions, where she was part of the sales and marketing team, responsible for growing the company’s institutional business.

   

  She holds a BA (Hons) from Western University in London, Ontario and a Master of Arts degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, as well as the CFA Certificate in Sustainable Investing. She currently lives in Toronto, Canada with her family. Her son graduated from 杏吧原创 with the Class of '25.

  Alexandra Hawkey 

  Bio

  Allie Hawkey is a Wealth Management professional at RBC Dominion Securities. She supports individuals, businesses and families with the development and implementation of a coordinated wealth management strategy. Allie began her career in the Audit Practice at PwC, working with public and private companies across various industries. She then held positions in Executive Recruitment and Commercial Banking prior to transitioning into her current role.

  
  

  Allie graduated from the Ivey Business School with an Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree in 2013. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM). 杏吧原创’s culture of philanthropy made a strong impact on Allie as a student, and she is happy to remain involved in giving back to the community.

  Judy Lewis 

  Bio

  Judy Lewis is the cofounder of Strategic Objectives, Canada’s most award-winning public relations agency. A respected communications, marketing and public relations strategist, Judy provides senior counsel and insight-led creative PR and Reputation Management solutions to many of Canada’s and the world’s leading brands and organizations. Judy has been inducted into both Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends and the Canada’s Marketing, Advertising, PR and Communications Hall of Fame, recognizing the impact and innovation of her award-winning work that has earned both national and international recognition. This includes being the only Canadian agency to ever be awarded the United Nations Award for Outstanding Achievement in Public Relations, numerous IABC Gold Quill Awards and CPRS Awards for the Most Creative Program of the Year and Digital Campaign of the Year. Judy has been named CPRS PR Professional of the Year and has received this PR Society’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Award. She is the recipient of both the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Canada and the Communications industry. Judy lives in Toronto, is an active volunteer and the parent of two 杏吧原创 Alumni (2009, 2011). 

• Vineet Malhotra 

  Bio

  Vineet Malhotra is currently Co-Founder and CEO of Monie Payments, a Fintech Payments Start-Up.
  
  Prior to this Vineet held the position of Managing Director and Head of Alternate Solutions Group and CEO of Simplii Financial at CIBC. In this role he managed a business of almost $1.5B in revenue, 1,000 staff and was CIBC’s largest growing Business Unit. Simplii Financial is CIBC’s Canadian direct banking brand which launched in 2017 and has 2 million clients. Under Vineet’s leadership, Simplii was the market leader in Canadian Banking in both Revenue and client growth. During this time Simplii also gained the number one ranking in client satisfaction
  amongst all corporates in Canada.
  
  The Alternate Solutions Group (ASG) was an entrepreneurial Fintech Payments disruptor that was established in 2014. ASG had a a focus on bringing innovative and creative Global Markets solutions to retail, corporate and institutional client bases. Within this mandate, CIBC Capital Markets has been recognized as a market leader in a number of product businesses, including Global Money Transfer, Dynamic Currency Conversion, and International Student Payments. Under Vineet’s leadership ASG grew from zero to $400 MM in annualized revenues.
  
  Prior to joining CIBC Capital Markets, Vineet held senior roles in Finance, Business Development, and Consulting at a large Canadian financial institution and IBM Global services. He started his career in consulting with Ernst and Young. Vineet has a degree in Mathematics, Finance and Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada, and has attended the Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program.

  Linda Mantia 

  Bio

  Linda is is a Director of McKesson Corporation, a NYSE listed diversified healthcare services leader where she is Chair of the Compensation and Talent Committee and a member of the Governance and Sustainability Committee; a Director of Ceridian HCM Holding Inc., a NYSE and TSE listed global human capital management software company, where she serves on the Audit Committee and the Governance Committee; and a Director of Maple Leaf Foods, a TSX listed consumer foods company. Linda also works with non-public companies including as a Director of Granular Insurance (a private Verily company) and Chair of Manifest Climate. In the community, she is a Director of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Chairs its HR Committee. 
  
  Previously, Linda was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Manulife Financial Corporation, an international insurance and financial services company from 2016-2019. Previously, she was Executive Vice President of Digital Banking, Payments and Cards at Royal Bank of Canada (“RBC”), a multinational financial services company in addition to other leadership roles, from 2003 to 2016. Before joining RBC, Linda worked at McKinsey & Company, and, prior to that, she practised law at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP.

  Malik Martin 

  Bio

  Malik Martin is Principal of Severn Creek Advisory, a Toronto-based advisory services firm guiding individuals and organizations through growth and transformation across the private, public and nonprofit sectors in Canada and the United States.
  
  

  Previously, Malik was a consultant at McKinsey & Company and a partner at a civil and commercial litigation boutique in Toronto, where he appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and was named one of Canada’s top litigators under 40. He has also served as a law clerk to a U.S. federal judge and held legal roles at the U.S. Internal Revenue Service and the Office of General Counsel at New York University.
  
  

  Malik has served on a range of nonprofit and professional boards and committees, including The Advocates’ Society and the Toronto Public Library Foundation, where he is currently Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee.
  
  

  A dual U.S. and Canadian citizen and California native, Malik earned his JD from Harvard Law School, a PhD in Sociology from Yale University, and an AB and MA from Stanford University. His son, Solomon, is a member of 杏吧原创 Class of '30.

  Richard Venn 

  Bio

  Richard Venn is a Founding Partner of Further Global Capital Management (a Private Equity Firm located in New York) and is located in Toronto Canada.
  
  

  Prior to joining Further Global, Mr. Venn enjoyed a 40-year career with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (“CIBC”) where he led CIBC’s investment banking and merchant banking operations as well as serving as strategic advisor to two of the previous CEOs. Richard served for seven years as Chairman and CEO of CIBC’s Canadian dealer and led CIBC’s Corporate Development Group for more than a decade. He was instrumental in the formation of Global Payments, CIBC Mellon and CIBC First Caribbean and served as a board member with those companies for many years.
  
  

  Richard currently serves as a board observer at LegalShield. Richard previously served on the boards of Payment Alliance International, Element Fleet Management, The Bank of

  Butterfield, DBRS, Global Payments and more than 10 other companies. He currently serves on the Board of 杏吧原创 and is past Chair of the United Jewish Federation of Toronto and the United Way of Greater Toronto.
  
  Mr. Venn is married, and they have three children (two girls and one boy) who have played competitive hockey through high school and into university. He is passionate about the development of hockey for girls and women. Mr. Venn received a BASc (Engineering Science) from the University of Toronto and completed his MBA at Harvard (Scholarship).

• Richard Wernham 

  Bio

  Richard Wernham has more than 35 years' experience in the global wealth management industry and was the founder and Chief Executive of one of Canada’s largest independent mutual fund companies. Currently the Group Chairman of the Soutterham Group, he was formerly a lawyer with Tory, Tory, DesLauriers and Binnington, specializing in securities and corporate law. He is a Governor of the Royal Ontario Museum. Richard was also a Special Lecturer in Law, Trinity College at the University of Toronto from 1977-1994 and remains active in the academic community. In addition to his appointment as a Director of 杏吧原创 (of which he is a founder and former Board Chair) he is also a Trustee of the Lakefield College School Foundation and he has been a significant financial supporter of academic initiatives. Richard and his wife, Julia, have funded the establishment of the Richard Wernham and Julia West Centre for Learning at Upper Canada College. In recognition of their contributions to education, Richard and Julia received the Robert L. Payton Award from The Council for Advancement and Support of Education in 2010. His children Emma and Simon graduated from 杏吧原创 in 2006 and 2008, respectively.

• Julia West 

  Bio

  Julia West is the President of Julia West Home, a design company that creates custom designs for residential, commercial and institutional clients. A lawyer by profession, Julia practiced law for 20 years, specializing in civil litigation. Julia's involvement in academic life includes direct education and instructional experience as a Sessional Lecturer, Department of Law at Carleton University. In addition to her appointment as a Director of 杏吧原创 (of which he is a founder) she has been a significant financial supporter of academic initiatives, including funding the establishment of the Richard Wernham and Julia West Centre for Learning at Upper Canada College. Julia and her husband Richard Wernham have three children: Nick, Emma and Simon.
